I can safely say that this is one of my all-time favorite movies.  Requiem For A Dream explored the avant-garde realm of possibilities of what was socially acceptable.  Director Darren Aronofsky, created masterpieces which were deemed as frightening and/or surreal films.  I found his methodology and in-depth creative process, inter tangled with themes and motifs, truly inspiring to a degree and essentially adopted bits and pieces to my design process.  So it is no wonder that I chose this film for my class assignment.  I wanted to keep the cryptic messages apparent enough, yet disguised enough to keep people wondering what this film could be possibly about.
