All throughout college I religiously watch workaholics.  It was a television show that explored and pushed the boundaries of the social norm and what was acceptable on most cable networks.  This was a project assigned during a course in college.  The creation of these disc covers changed my workflow and productivity throughout the rest of my education and still today. Our professor pushed us to the extreme and had our class create more than 20 different mockups a day, whereas most classes required only a handful of mockups per project!  Through this strenuous method, I've leaped boundaries and truly expanded my practice and routine in which I create and formulate designs.
